S.Y.N.A.P.S.E Society of Young Neuroscientists And Professors in the South East will be hosting the SECOND Annual Undergraduate Neuroscience Meeting on Saturday, May 1, 2004 James Madison University The one-day meeting will include poster presentations, workshops and a keynote speaker. All undergraduates are invited to attend and present posters of their research activities. We anticipate between 50 and 150 participants from all over the Mid-Atlantic and South East. Posters will be presented during two, 1 1/2 hour sessions. Posters can be any size, but either 4' x 3' or 68" x 44" (Society for Neuroscience size) are recommended. Registration The registration for can be downloaded in either MSWord by clicking here or in simple text here. Presenters will need to provide a title and brief abstract (200 word limit) that emphasizes the experimental question and methods rather than results. Registration costs are $10 for students and $15 for faculty. The registration deadline for receipt is April 15. Any students that are planning to attend by themselves and arrive on Friday should especially contact us; we may may be able to provide you with accommodation with one of our students. Directions: I81 to exit 247 east. Travel about 1 mile to second traffic light and turn right on University Blvd. Travel through two stoplights until you reach a right hand turn into James Madison University, College of Integrated Sciences and Technology (about 3 miles on University Dr.). Park in the first large parking area to the right. The College Center is across the street. There will be signs. See the University map for more details once you enter the University.
