Arabidopsis Knockout Project
Phase 2
Find recent, peer-reviewed papers on your
gene family by searching PubMed, Plant Physiology or other sources listed
on the course Links Page. Select
a paper to read and turn in a 2 page, double-spaced report on this paper
describing IN YOUR OWN WORDS:
-
the main question being addressed
-
a brief description of the methods used to
address the question
-
the results obtained and
-
the conclusions reached.
Refer to specific figures in your explanations.
Include the full citation of the paper at the top of the first page and
attach a photocopy of the paper to the back. Repeat this process
two additional times over the next three weeks (see schedule)
using related papers. Eventually, these reports will be used in writing
your final paper on the knockout mutant.
Proceed to Phase
3
