Attendance

1. It is assumed that everyone will attend and participate in all classes. Attendance for group projects is so important that a penalty of 10% of the final grade will be exacted for each and every absence more than one and for each missed deadline.

Ethics

1. All students are expected to abide by the JMU Honor Code. Therefore, any and all work submitted for a grade will be assumed to be the student’s own or that of their group.

2. Late arrival at class disturbs other students. Also, if motivation is insufficient to arrive on time, success in the course is questionable; therefore, the door may be locked at the beginning of class, and no one will be admitted after that time.
