Welcome to the Biology Department's Microscopy Facility at JMU!

The microscopy facility is brand new, and so is this website. It contains many resources already, but it is still under construction and suggestions are very welcome! Using the facility Users can get training, as well as help at any stage of their microscopy project by contacting me (bannigax@jmu.edu or phone 8-4521). I do not pretend to know everything, but what I don't know, I'll do my best to find out. The confocal microscope can be reserved through the electronic booking system. Please read the user guidelines under the Facility Information page. Sharing: There is a section on protocols for microscopy, which I am hoping users of the facility will help me to fill. If you have a good protocol that you would like to share, please send it to me. Also, if you have images from the microscope that you would like to share, please submit them for the gallery page.
