Welcome to the Biology Department's Microscopy Facility at JMU!

FACILITY CLOSURE Please note that the Microscopy Facility will be closed for the month of May while we move to a new building. Limited services will be offered in the first week or two of May, but please plan your experiments with the expectation that you might not be able to get access to the microscopes during this time. Please contact me if you want to make special arrangements for your research. Using the facility Users can get training, as well as help at any stage of their microscopy project by contacting me. I do not pretend to know everything, but what I don't know, I'll do my best to find out. Trained users may reserve time on the microscopes through the electronic booking system. Please read the user guidelines. Sharing: There is a section on protocols for microscopy, which I am hoping users of the facility will help me to fill. If you have a good protocol that you would like to share, please send it to me. Also, if you have images from the microscope that you would like to share, please submit them for the gallery page.
