WATCH OUT!

This is the head of a centipede. Centipedes prey on other insects for their food. Centipedes bite their victim with these long chelicerae, and inject a poison inside them to stun or kill them. On the left is the head of the centipede, and on the right is a close-up view of the chelicerae tips with the venom ducts. They look like little hypodermic needles, don't they?
