Get a jump on your vet school application by getting involved in research early! Many professors at JMU are looking for students to work in their labs. Check out the Biology professors' Research Interests to find something that you would want to do, then contact the professor to see if they are accepting students.

If you can't find something, don't be discouraged! There are research opportunities in other departments (such as Psychology) or you can look into opportunities during the summer at universities near your home.
