Micromount Collection

     Micromounts are mineral specimens in which the individual crystals are so small that magnification is required in order to correctly identify and evaluate the mineral.  The micromount specimens are from all over the world and include minerals from Phillip R. Cosminski Collection, James Madison's own collection, and other private parties that have donated to the museum.  The donors of these micromounts are noted on their individual pages.
